We work closely with local schools and community leaders to help identify at-risk youth who could benefit from our services and activities. This cooperative effort enables us to reach children who need us most to help them make good choices and provide positive alternatives to life on the streets.

How to Help

Spanos School has had the amazing opportunity to work with Chaplain Bob for the past 10 years and he has become an integral part of our support team! Chaplain Bob is a consistent, positive presence on our campus and students often seek him out. He has provided student conflict mediation, afterschool tutoring services, parent training, and family/community outreach. We are truly grateful for Chaplain Bob's dedication and service to our students, and families.

The Center continues to serve as a pillar, exemplifying the commitment it takes to positively change individual lives, families, and as a result; the city of Stockton. Chaplain Bob has worked with our community for 24 years providing services to the many children, youth, and families who attend The Center and our schools. He has always been part of the McKinley Community and is always focused on the greater good of our children. In addition to direct services to our children such as tutoring, connections to resources, mentoring; he also is an advocate for entire families and our staff. His goal for our schools and our community is to help create an environment in which our families feel safe. Our school has been blessed to have Chaplain Bob as a partner of our learning community. He is always a phone call away.
